Apple unveils the iPhone Pocket, a new accessory for carrying an iPhone

Apple has unveiled the iPhone Pocket, a new accessory designed for carrying an iPhone.

Apple has introduced a new product for its fans called the iPhone Pocket. Like the Crossbody Strap, this latest accessory lets users carry their iPhone. This time, however, the Cupertino company has partnered with ISSEY MIYAKE to create a pocket that can be held in the hand, attached to a bag or worn on the body, carrying an iPhone or other items. Its 3D knitted design accommodates every iPhone model and, when stretched, reveals part of the screen.

“Apple and ISSEY MIYAKE share a design approach that celebrates craftsmanship, simplicity and delight,” said Molly Anderson, Apple’s Vice President of Industrial Design. “This clever extra pocket embodies those principles and is a natural complement to our products. The iPhone Pocket colour palette has been designed to coordinate with any iPhone model in any finish – allowing users to create their own combination. Its distinctive silhouette provides an elegant new way to carry iPhones, AirPods and favourite everyday items.”

iPhone Pocket starting price: €159.95

This is a limited edition product, which Apple will sell through selected Apple Stores and on its website in France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States. In France, the new accessory will be available at Apple Marché Saint-Germain.

There is a short version, priced at €159.95, and a long version, priced at €249.95. The former comes in lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon and black. The latter is offered in sapphire, cinnamon and black. Both versions will go on sale from 14 November.
