Xiaomi is bringing its new 7-litre Mijia Smart Steam Air Fryer to global markets. The appliance combines several cooking methods, including hot air, steam and a mode that replicates sous-vide cooking.

Ten cooking modes for everyday preparation

The new model offers 10 operating modes, among them steaming, drying, fermentation, defrosting and reheating. Its built-in 1.5-litre water tank enables sous-vide-like functions without the need for separate equipment. The temperature can be set from 40 to 230 °C; in steam mode, it reaches up to 130 °C, allowing food to be cooked faster than in conventional steamers.

Xiaomi Mijia Smart Steam Air Fryer connectivity

A hybrid mode combines hot air with steam, keeping food moist inside while creating a crisp outer layer.

HyperOS Connect support allows the appliance to be controlled through the Xiaomi Home app, while voice commands can also be issued via Google Home.
