A cross between a steamer, grill and oven

Dreame has officially unveiled the new F60 air fryer, featuring what the manufacturer describes as a unique steam-then-bake cooking technology. It is designed to make it easy to prepare food with a crisp outer layer and succulent interior.

High-temperature steam first rapidly penetrates the ingredients, helping to preserve moisture and freshness, with a moisture-retention rate of up to 76.4%. A 1,750 W dual-flow air compressor then activates to deliver 360-degree circulating heat and create a crisp crust. Whether cooking chicken, pork knuckle or potatoes, the result should be crisp on the outside and tender within.

This air fryer sits somewhere between a steamer, grill and oven. Its cooking pot is made from titanium ceramic, a heat- and scratch-resistant material. It also offers a high-temperature steam self-cleaning function, making it easier to remove grease without vigorous scrubbing.

With a 7-litre capacity, it can comfortably hold whole chickens and a large batch of potatoes at once. A range of preset programmes is also included.
