Samsung releases tenth One UI 8.5 beta for Galaxy S25

While everyone awaits the final firmware release

Samsung has begun rolling out the tenth One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea. Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra owners are receiving build S93xNKSU9ZZDD. The same update has been released in Germany as Beta 10, while it is labelled Beta 8 in the United Kingdom and One UI 8.5 Beta 9 in India.

One UI 8.5 beta changes for the Galaxy S25 series

The firmware package is more than 900 MB in size and chiefly addresses bugs identified in earlier beta releases. Alongside these fixes, Samsung has introduced new Galaxy AI features, including Call Screening and Creative Studio.

The changelog also brings refinements to Audio Eraser and Photo Assist. Fixes cover a delayed incoming-call screen and a black screen during calls, proximity sensor issues while speaking, green lines when recording 4K HDR video in certain third-party apps, and improved Bluetooth stability.

Expected stable One UI 8.5 release

Samsung may stop at the tenth beta: it was previously reported that the final One UI 8.5 version would arrive at the end of April.
